Visitors to Aquapark Tatralandia can enjoy 14 swimming pools - of which 9 are year-round with healthy thermal water (3 indoor), with a water temperature of 24-39 °C, with many water attractions: swimming lanes, water climbing wall, water beds, massage sessions, water mushroom, gargoyles, whirlpools, water streams, water swing, water volleyball and basketball. The Bešeňová water park was created near the hot springs of healing waters, which spring from a depth of 1987 meters through a well with a temperature of 60 °C. In the complex, which is open all year round, there are 13 outdoor and 3 indoor pools, 9 water slides, a vital world and a relaxation center. Thermal water has a beneficial effect primarily on the locomotor system, urological problems, respiratory system and has beneficial cosmetic effects. The overall beneficial effect on the body is manifested mainly after repeated visits. Water park Bešeňová offers all year round, in addition to swimming, various types of massages and wellness services, pleasant sitting in restaurants and bars right by the pools.
Liptovská Mara is an artificial water reservoir with a hydroelectric power plant in central Liptov, named after the defunct village that was flooded in 1975. In the summer, it is the center of tourism in Liptov. The best beach for swimming can be found at Autocamping Liptovský Trnovec. You can use the offer of boating, water bikes, jet skis, windsurfing, yachting or beach volleyball. Several boats for a cruise on Liptovska Mara also start from the beach. In addition, of course, meals in several buffets and also many attractions for the little ones.
The Aqua-Vital park is part of the Lúčky spa area. You can find these spas behind the village with the same name - Lúčky. The Aqua-Vital park is open all year round. Visitors have access to an outdoor swimming pool with a temperature of 28°C - 33°C with various attractions such as a water bench with air massage, a waterfall, gargoyles, a counter current, a swing bay, under-surface lighting, an outdoor sitting pool with healing mineral water warm to 36°C - 38°C, indoor healing mineral pool with water temperatures of 32°C and 35°C, a vital world where visitors can find a Finnish sauna, a menthol sauna and a Roman steam bath, where the effects of natural essential oils are used, a Kneipp foot bath, massage turbo showers, ice bucket and tepidarium. The advantage of the Aqua-Vital park is a significantly lower price compared to larger water parks. As a bonus, on the way to the Aqua-Vital park, you can see a beautiful waterfall right in the village of Lúčky.
Thermal swimming pool - Termal Raj is located at the end of Liptovský Ján village on travertine hills with thermal and mineral springs. The original spa was established in the 19th century. The thermal water in the pools is mineralized, bicarbonate-sulphate, strongly carbonated, calcium-magnesium, hypotonic and has a temperature of 29°C. It is characterized by its hydrogen sulphide smell. It is suitable for the treatment of metabolic disorders, stomach and intestinal diseases, gall bladder and liver diseases, blood pressure problems, and allergic diseases. In the area of the swimming pool you will find a large swimming pool, a quiet sitting pool and a children's pool for the little ones. Of course, there is also a beach volleyball court and various types of refreshments.
